Looking for a flexible part-time job that provides a steady income while fitting around your studies?

We are looking for reliable students to join our pool of Cleanroom Safety Assistants at the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e). This position offers flexible scheduling and requires a minimum commitment of 6 months.

What will you do?

As a Cleanroom Safety Assistant, you will be present in our professional cleanroom while a SMART Operator performs specific laboratory activities.

Your primary responsibility is to be present as the second authorized person in the cleanroom during designated operations. This is a safety-critical role: if an emergency occurs, you will be able to alert the appropriate team members and assist in following established safety procedures. Please note this is not a position in which you actively contribute to the cleanroom process, you are present and can focus on your own study, homework or reading.

Growth opportunity

Over time, there may be an opportunity to support our HTC cleanroom with more technical and hands-on tasks. While this is not guaranteed, it can provide valuable practical experience for those interested.

Job requirements

Because this is a safety-critical position, reliability is essential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is punctual and dependable.

  • Can commit to a minimum of 6 months.

  • Has a flexible schedule.

  • Takes responsibility seriously and understands the importance of being present for every scheduled shift.

Please note that laboratory work cannot begin or continue unless a second authorized person is present. Your attendance directly supports the safe operation of the cleanroom.

Shifts are scheduled during the following time windows:

  • Morning: 06:00 – 09:00

  • Evening: 17:00 – 22:00
