Job description
As an Industrial Engineer, you play a crucial role in scaling our factory from early-stage production toward stable, high-volume manufacturing. You will optimize processes, remove bottlenecks, and solve complex manufacturing issues in a rapidly evolving environment. Expect hands‑on work on the production floor such as interacting with people to get practical information and identify the real bottlenecks, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a strong focus on measurable output improvements.
In this role, you will be working within the Operations team and report to our Senior Manager Industrial Engineering.
In this role you will do:
Process Optimization: Analysing production processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, solve (critical) manufacturing issues, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies.
Capacity studies: Analyse the capacity of the line and identify (future) bottle necks, suggest improvements and report a plan.
Project management: getting things done, together, with a multidisciplinary team is key to ramp-up our factory.
What your day will look like:
Assessment and investigation of a Critical manufacturing issue to see if it can be resolved single-handed, if not, creating and executing an attack plan to resolve.
Initiate, coordinate and lead a team to solve critical and high priority manufacturing issues that are cross-functional and complex in nature.
Ensure resulting continuous improvements and recommendations are communicated and implemented in the design, process, equipment or manufacturing line.
Build and maintain dashboards that track open incidents, risks, cycle times, yields, and bottlenecks.
Analysis and recommendations to help reduce the occurrence rate of these manufacturing incidences, reducing rework and improve yields.
Capacity analysis to support future CAPEX decisions.
