Job description

Are you passionate about high-tech and precision work? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of semiconductor processes? At SMART Photonics, we’re looking for a motivated TMR Technician to strengthen our Test Measurement & Reliability team.
About the Role
As a Test & Reliability Technician at SMART Photonics, you'll be working in a cutting-edge photonics foundry, independently operating complex test equipment for wafer, bar, and die level testing. Next you are also responsible for the execution of the Reliability tests, means measurements & operating the Reliability test equipment and preparation of the samples. Your day-to-day will involve a variety of testing scenarios, from routine tasks to more complex and less frequent operations, including work with non-standard wafers.
Key Responsibilities
· Independently operate complex test & reliability equipment based on detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
· Execute both regular and advanced test operations, including reworks and non-standard wafer tests.
· Prepare Reliability samples, test and execute the tests.
· Identify and report deviations or equipment incidents according to our escalation procedures (OCAPs).
· Provide feedback on test deviations to senior technicians or engineers.
· Perform visual inspections and support SPC (Statistical Process Control) data collection.
· Drive continuous quality improvements and participate in process documentation and optimization.
· Collaborate closely with Engineers to align on quality standards.
· Support special tasks such as 8D measurements and interact with Wafer Operations to ensure smooth batch processing.
Job requirements
· MBO in a technical direction (e.g., Electronics, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, or similar).
· 2+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor processing or test environments is a pre.
· Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
· Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-tech, cleanroom environment.
· Available for the 2-shift schedule and already located in or near Eindhoven. (for this role we do not offer relocation and/or Visa support)
· Good in English (read/write/speak)
