Production Planner
Are you a hands-on planner who enjoys making things run smoothly in a high-tech environment? Do you want to work in a growing, innovative company located at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven? We’re looking for a practical and collaborative team player to help keep our wafer production on track—every day.
Your role:
As a Production Planner at SMART Photonics, you’ll be part of the operations team in our cleanroom facility. You make sure that planning requests—from Sales, R&D, and Engineering—are turned into a realistic and efficient production schedule. You work closely with our cleanroom shift leads and operators to keep everything flowing smoothly. Being visible on the shopfloor and personal alignment is key.
Key tasks
Create and adjust short-term production plans (daily and weekly)
Coordinate with shift leads to match staff and tool availability
Integrate special requests (e.g., R&D batches) into the plan
Monitor production progress and resolve small planning issues quickly
Update planning data in our MES system (no programming required)
Help improve planning processes over time
Report on KPIs such as delivery time and workflow efficiency
Job requirements
A bachelor’s or Master degree is preferred, ideally in logistics, operations, or a technical field.
Solid experience in wafer fabrication planning
Master starters are open to apply, this role will give you unique insights in wafer manufacturing and an advance in your career later.
3-5 years’ experience in a planning or coordination role, ideally in a factory or technical production environment
fluent in both Dutch and English
You live in or near Eindhoven and can work on-site daily
good communicator who enjoys working with different teams
