Equipment technician

As our Equipment Technician you will become the support for the Equipment team in the 5-shifts and combine an operational position as process Technician with the extra tasks of equipment technician when needed.

You are trained to provide first line support when a tool is down, or equipment isn’t performing as expected. You can solve common and recurring issues yourself and know when to call for help of an equipment engineer, when the issue is too complex.

in time you are trained and expected to perform as an all-round equipment technician in the shifts. Extra training, support and guidance is covered. In this role you report to the Equipment Cluster Lead and trained by the Equipment Engineers.

Main daily tasks:

Trainee on several equipment and tools (during the day shifts 8 – 16.30 hours)

Perform first-level troubleshooting and recovery of equipment alarms and faults during production shifts.

The linking pin between equipment engineering and the shifts, able to support, explain or solve technical challenges with the tools and equipment.

Provide clear shift handover reports on tool status and outstanding issues.

When trained well, you can solve basic issues yourself, support in maintenance and preventing tools down.

We are looking for a person who has/is

MBO 4 degree in a technical field and/or Vapro C

Demonstrated experience in wafer handling and semiconductor manufacturing processes, with good understanding of production tools and equipment used in a cleanroom environment.

High level of precision and attention to detail, with the ability to safely handle sensitive equipment, wafers, and specialized tools

Good communication skills to work collaboratively and thrive on accountability.

Proactive and self-driven mindset, with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Good English and Dutch communication skills.

Available for 5-shifts schedule.

Able to work in Cleanroom environment.
