We are looking for a reliable Operator to join our team at SMART Photonics B.V. in the Operations department. (5 shifts schedule).

Our Operators have an important role in making sure our facilities run smoothly.

We work in 5 shifts and have operators, senior operators and technicians working together to fabricate Photonic Chips. Being able and willing to work accurately, having an eye for detail and operating the machines correctly are very important. After acceptance, you will receive a good training period and the time to make the profession your own!

Therefore, we are looking for people who want to continue working with us for a long time.

Main Job Duties:

  • You main task is to keep the production of wafers running; with care and paying close attention to details;

  • You are able to combine a smooth and timely process whilst meeting the high quality requirements;

  • Operate complex machines;

  • Close collaboration within and other teams. Communication and alignment are key.

  • Following strict safety rules to keep the workplace safe;

Job requirements

  • VMBO, MBO or HBO in a technology related field, process technology or VAPRO B;

  • Affinity or strong interest with the semiconductor or Photonics industry;

  • Flexible and able to work in 5 shifts;

  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, Dutch is a plus;

  • You have a can-do attitude and can work accurately.
